Much like the families and places that I photograph, my life is a constant evolution. Each day brings new changes. Some are small and completely new. Others are the slow fading of moments and objects that have outlasted their usefulness.
My constant is a passion for seeing what is alive in the moment. The connections, the juxtapositions, the uniqueness, and the ordinariness in the world around all speak to my sense of what is truly important, what can so easily be lost, and what can be so easily missed in the shuffle of everyday life. I capture these images in my work with playfulness, quirkiness, and a feel for catching the moment.
